Rhyzo 1-0-0 FL
Overview
Rhyzo FL; is a liquid root stimulant and biostimulant, developed by The Kimitec Group as a non-hormonal rooting product. It is designed for growers who want the proven rooting performance of Rhyzo in a convenient liquid formulation, without high phosphorus or B-vitamin content and without the tank-mix limitations associated with phosphorus seen in the Powder Formulation.
Rhyzo FL promotes root induction and root system activation in all crop types – vegetables, fruit crops, citrus, olives, nut trees, nurseries, flowers, cannabis, hemp and ornamentals. It performs especially well during sensitive stages such as transplanting, early establishment, and periods of environmental or root stress.
Guaranteed Analysis & Composition
Guaranteed Analysis (w/w)
- Total Nitrogen (N): 1.50%
- Free Amino Acids: 6.00%
- Zinc (Zn): 0.35%
- Glucose: 4.00%
Derived from: fermented proteins, zinc sulfate, and glucose syrup.
Unlike Rhyzo Powder, Rhyzo FL contains no phosphorus and no B1/B-vitamin fertilizer like the Powder Version. Its rooting effect is based on a specific L-amino acid profile, zinc sulfate, and readily available carbon (glucose). Results between the two products are similar.
How Rhyzo FL Works
- Specific L-amino acids (6%): Provides trophic and signaling effects that support hormone synthesis, enzyme activity, and stress recovery in the root zone, thus stimulating new root initiation and elongation.
- Zinc sulfate (0.35% Zn): Supplies zinc, a key co-factor in auxin-related pathways and enzyme systems associated with root growth, helping drive stronger, more active root tips.
- Glucose (4%): Provides a readily usable carbon source that supports rhizosphere microbial activity and root metabolism during all plannt stages and in stress recovery.
- Rooting bioinductor: Rhyzo’s non-horxxmonal bioinduction technology enhances natural rooting pathways without the use of synthetic plant growth regulators.
Together, these components improve primary, secondary, and tertiary root development, resulting in a denser, more fibrous root system, better anchoring, and more efficient water and nutrient uptake.
When to Use Rhyzo FL
Rhyzo FL is particularly recommended in the following situations:
- Initial stages of the crop – immediately after emergence or transplanting.
- Transplanting periods – Plugs, liners, and young plants moving into larger pots, beds, tunnels, or field.
- Adverse climatic conditions – Especially cold periods, low light, or poor rooting weather.
- Stress conditions – Hydric (over/under-watering), heat stress, root pruning, root loss, compaction, or salinity issues.
- Winter cycles – Slow root growth.
- Critical stages – Flowering, start of ripening, and early fruit development when root activity is easily compromised.
- Nurseries – For rapid rooting and uniform development of seedlings and young plants.
Benefits for Growers
- Alternative to conventional hormone-based rooting products – strong rooting without synthetic growth regulators.
- Higher root development – Helps plants develop more main roots, secondary roots, and fine feeder roots.
- Higher productivity – Improved root establishment often translates into better crop performance and yield potential.
- Better nutrient absorption – More active root area and better root health.
- Improved crop vigor – Stronger, more resilient plants, especially under stress.
- Flexible use – Recommended from planting to harvest whenever root function is a priority.
- Convenient liquid formulation – Ideal for growers who prefer liquids, have smaller areas, or don’t need the large coverage provided by a 1 kg powder pack.
Rates & Application Timing
Standard Irrigation Rates (Field, Orchard & Greenhouse)
As a general program, first application right after planting or transplanting and a second application 7–10 days later. Rhyzo FL can be used again later in the crop cycle whenever additional root stimulation or root stress recovery is desired.
| Crop Type | Rate via Irrigation | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Viable for all plant types!! Pepper, eggplant, zucchini, melon, watermelon, cucumber, tomato, cole crops, leafy vegetables, aapples, cherries, citrus, pear, stone fruit, kiwi, table and wine grapes, berries, cannabis, hemp, almond, pecan, citris, pear, stone friuit, kiwi, table and wine grapes, flowers and other ornamentals, |
7.5 to 12.5 Liters/Acre per application | 1st application at transplant; 2nd application 7–10 days after the 1st. |
Note: Application Rate of 0.3–0.5 gallons per acre, Always check local labels and regulations and adjust volumes to your irrigation system and water volumes.
Compatibility & Handling
- No phosphorus–calcium conflict: Rhyzo FL contains no phosphorus, so it does not carry the same calcium-compatibility concern as phosphorus-based products.
- Generally compatible with most fertilizers and many biostimulants used in fertigation; perform a simple jar test before new tank mixes.
- Apply through clean irrigation systems; flush lines with water after use as part of normal maintenance.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures; keep container tightly closed when not in use.
Summary
- Rhyzo FL; is a liquid, non-hormonal rooting inductor based on specific L-amino acids, zinc sulfate, and glucose.
- Delivers the same core rooting and stress-reduction benefits as Rhyzo Powder, in a phosphorus-free, easy-to-use liquid form.
- Ideal for growers who prefer liquids, operate on smaller areas, or want to avoid long-term storage of powder products.
