Rhyzo 7.5-39-0
Powder Fertilizer – Non-Hormonal Rooting Inductor

Overview

Rhyzo; is a non-hormonal rooting inductor and bio-nutrient of the latest generation, developed by Kimitec Group as an alternative to hormone-based rooting products. It is a powder fertilizer with a guaranteed analysis of 7.5-39-0 (N-P2O5-K2O), formulated to promote rapid root initiation, stimulate regeneration of damaged roots, and strong root system development in all types of crops – from greenhouse vegetables and fruit crops to nurseries, ornamentals, and trees.

The high rooting power of Rhyzo is based on a specific aminogram of free L-amino acids, a high phosphorus concentration, and B-vitamins. This triple-action approach activates the root system, improves plant establishment, and increases the growth potential during the most sensitive stages of the crop cycle.

Key Technical Components

Guaranteed Analysis (Plant Nutrients)

  • Total Nitrogen (N): 7.5%
  • Soluble Nitrogen: 7.5%
  • Available Phosphate (P2O5): 39.0%

Non-Plant Food Ingredients

  • Total L-Amino Acids: 16.0%
    • Methionine – 4.0%
    • Tryptophan – 4.0%
    • Arginine – 8.0%
  • B Vitamins: 1.3%

This composition delivers both a strong phosphorus for root initiation and a targeted blend of L-amino acids and vitamins that support hormone synthesis, enzyme activity, and stress tolerance in the root zone.

How Rhyzo Works – Triple Effect on the Root System

  • Specific Amino Acids: supply readily usable building blocks and biochemical signals that promote root initiation, elongation, and stress recovery.
  • Rooting Bioinductor: Kimitec’s proprietary bioinduction technology that enhances natural rooting pathways without the use of synthetic plant hormones.
  • Phosphorus + B Vitamins: High P drives energy transfer and root meristem activity, while B vitamins support metabolic and enzymatic processes during periods of stress and rapid growth.

This triple action improves primary (main) roots, secondary roots, and tertiary roots, leading to a denser, more fibrous root system with greater soil or substrate exploration.

Root System & Soil–Rhizosphere Benefits

Rhyzo is designed not only to create more roots, but also to improve how the root system interacts with the surrounding soil or substrate.

  • Soil fixation: better anchoring of plants and stabilization in the root zone.
  • Water and nutrient absorption: more active root tips and root hairs for improved uptake efficiency.
  • Nitrogen fixation support: enhanced environment for biological N-fixation where symbiotic organisms are present.
  • Inorganic phosphorus dilution: improved access to and use of applied or native phosphorus.
  • Secretion of beneficial enzymes: stimulation of root exudation and enzyme activity that can mobilize nutrients.
  • Symbiotic association with microorganisms: a more favorable rhizosphere for beneficial microbes and mycorrhizae.

Recommended Use Situations

Rhyzo is particularly indicated for encouraging rooting and reactivating the root system in the following situations:

  • Begining stages of the crop (post-emergence or immediately after transplanting).
  • Transplanting periods and crop establishment in the field or greenhouse.
  • Adverse climatic conditions, especially cold periods and low light situations.
  • Stress conditions such as hydric stress, heat stress, root pruning or root loss.
  • During winter production cycles or using it particularly with slow-rooting crops.
  • Critical phases: flowering, start of ripening, and fruit development when root activity is easily compromised.
  • Nursery seedlings, liners, and young plants where rapid, healthy rooting is key.

Rates & Application Timing

Field Use (Open Field & Orchards)

  • Rate: 1–2 lb per acre, applied through irrigation or dissolved for banded/soil application.
  • Standard program:
    • First application at planting or transplanting.
    • Second application 7–10 days after the first application.
  • You may repeat applications later in the cycle whenever you need to support root development or help plants recover from stress.

Indoor / Greenhouse / Small-System Use

  • Concentrate preparation: mix 50 grams of Rhyzo with 1 gallon of water to create a liquid concentrate.
  • Application rate: use 1 ml of this concentrate per gallon of irrigation water in your greenhouse or hydroponic system.
  • Rhyzo is very friendly – if you overshoot the use rate by a modest amount, plants generally respond with even more vigorous rooting and visible growth. However, it is still a concentrated product, so it is easy to overdo it. Start within the recommended range and adjust only after observing plant response.
  • You can use Rhyzo throughout crop development, or at any time you want to focus specifically on root development and root stress reduction.

Always follow local regulations and your product label where they differ from these general recommendations.

Compatibility & Handling

  • Do not mix with calcium in the same concentrate tank solution.
  • Perform a simple jar test before first-time tank mixes with pesticides or new fertilizers.
  • Rhyzo disperses in water with light agitation; any residue in pails is water-soluble – triple rinse.
  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures, and keep out of reach of children and animals.

Why Growers Choose Rhyzo

  • Non-hormonal rooting solution: provides strong rooting power without synthetic growth regulators.
  • High phosphorus + amino acid technology: targets both energy and signal pathways in the root.
  • Versatile: suitable from planting to harvest, whenever root function is a priority.
  • Crop-wide fit: vegetable crops, fruit trees, vines, berries, nut crops, flowers, cannabis, hemp and ornamentals.
  • Stronger, denser root systems: better anchoring, improved water and nutrient uptake, and more resilience under stress.
